We at Lions Vets would first like to thank you for taking the time and considering a sponsorship of our team. The Leicester Lions Rugby Football Club was formed in the summer of 1999 by the amalgamation of Westleigh RFC (founded in 1904) and Wigston RFC (founded in 1946) both clubs with proud traditions. The less able, aged & infirm players of both clubs gravitating to a Vets side that has over time become fatter, older & more decrepit.
The middle aged of our community are our most important asset and Leicester Lions Vets provides these men with the opportunity to develop physically and mentally as they compete as a team. We are seeking your support in providing Rugby Football to these people. Our goal is to ensure that every over the hill player who wants to continue participating has the opportunity to do so. 
One of the toughest tasks that faces any non-profit organisation dedicated to elderly sport of any kind is providing quality kit and equipment on a very limited budget. Your support will help us do something special and we would like to offer you the opportunity to sponsor our team and advertise your business.
We are happy to discuss any special requirements a sponsor may have to assist in maximising the benefits achieved from association with Lions Vets. Sponsorship will provide you with many opportunities to advertise your corporate and product brands to a large audience of middle aged and not very dynamic men.
Advertising media will range from your corporate logo on our shirts, to advertising space on this website. Sponsorship money will be used to fund the purchase of new team shirts (complete with your corporate logos), and be used to further develop and grow the team whilst at the same time promoting sport for the elderly.
